Track Name: Blue Eggs and Blueies
1. Blue Eggs and Bluies:
(Deyoung/Shaw(Kranz/Udel)

You've read about me in the papers
You've seen me on the movie screen
You know everything about me
I'm your late night fantasy

But don't think i can't hear you calling
From the shadow of the 14th row
Cause i've had the same dreams you've had
A few short years ago and that's why i know

You and I
We will climb so high
Superstars
Whoa whoa you and i

And we'll just close our eyes
And we'll become our fantasy

Superstars yes, yes, superstars
Step right this way. everyone's welcome,
We want your dreams.
The offer's simple, momentary immortality

Cause i've seen them all you know
I've seen them climb and i've seen them fall
I've seen them come and i've seen them go
And through it all there's only one thing that matters

Love - and that's simply
You and i
Yes, you and i
For we are superstars
Track Name: Time To Make A Men's
2. Time to Make a Men's:
(First 9 lines Udel, next 2 Kranz, next one Udel, the rest Udel except for "thick as water" which was Phillip's idea)

Don't you ever think you knew
what you ever thought you'd do
to me if you'd ever call me?

Don't I think it's all too strange
when you think I'm all too strange
cause you think i'm too pathetic?

And I want you to know
That I'm not saying no
To hurting you a third time

And It's times like these when the bleeding starts to heal,
and the screaming starts to yield
something else behind those tears

and we're hurting eachother so bad
and we're learning together it's bad
to wake up dead before you hurt some more

And it's times like these when the blood runs thick as water
and when listening isn't worth it
cause everything's too meaningless

and we're hurting eachother so good
and we're learning together it's good
it's time to make a men's.

Track Name: I Love You
4. I Love You:
(Udel/)

(Girl part:)
When we first met
I remember the flowers in the field
we ran through them together
we got grass stains if we kneeled

(Guy part:)
later on we started hanging out
i thought we were meant for eachother
it was written in the sky
i said i would never kiss another

(Girl and Guy party:)
When times get rough
and you're feeling blue
remember you love me
and I love you

(Girl part:)
In time we would grow up
and things settled down
we had kids of our own
and we still stuck around

(Guy part:)
We worried so much back then
about how things would turn out
then they turned out fine
what was all the fuss about?

(Both parts):>/i
When times get rough
and you're feeling blue
remember you love me (mistake)
and I love you

BRIDGE
Fading in and fading out
fading in and fading out
fading in and fading out
fading in and fading in and fading out
you're so close to me
your "so" close to me
but now I can see
but now I can see
you've got a hold of me
you've got a hold of me baby baby
baby
maybe
maybe
definitely
definitely

(Violin Duet Solo)

(Intense quiet final chorus with both girl and guy part:)
When times get rough
and you're feeling blue
remember you love me
and I love you
(Not overdub)
Track Name: Aux Return
5. Aux Return:
(Kranz/Mackie) (Last two lines of Verse 2 by Philip Rufus McGee)

I see it coming like a bomb off a plane
I watch it fall before I get to the pain
It's like a tyrant that we all know so well
Like a fire hydrant that we all see? a bell

Come on Baby Hit the Aux Return!
(Aux Return Solo)
Ain't it time to Right/Write The Lesson You've Learned!
(Aux Return Solo?)
Can't You See It's Coming Back in a Flash!
(Aux Return Solo)
I'm Going Down Before I Give You Whiplash!

I see it coming like a bullet from a gun
I watch it shoot before I decide to run
It's like a protagonist who can make his Ethos
It's like an antagonish who's aware of his Pathos

Come on Baby Hit the Aux Return!
(Aux Return Solo)
Ain't it time to Right/Wrong The Lesson You've Learned!
(Aux Return Solo)
Can't You see it? ???? ?????...a flash?
(Aux Return Solo)
I'm Going Down Before I Give You Whiplash!
(Aux Return Solo)
Track Name: Lonely Nights Alone
6. Lonely Nights Alone:
(Udel)

And she says it's time to go home
And she sent me home

And without a coat on
She sent me home
To go away tonight

And then i started walking home
A long way through the dark alleys

And she said it's always not going to be this way
When the sun comes up it'll be a brand new day.

And it's
Without her tonight
Where to go? Tonight?
Around the corner of
Around the corner of the guilt i feel
it's real
you don't have to steal anything from me

and it's getting later
I don't see the clock
but I know it's late tonight.

And I'm spending all these lonely nights alone
by myself

And I'm waiting by the phone
for a call
so things won't be so blue.

Lonely Nights Alone (tm)
Track Name: The Steinberg Cultural Arts Center
7. The Steinberg Cultural Arts Center:
(Udel Verses 1,2,and Chorus, and verse 3, Kranz gave vital help towards verse 3 and wrote the last line of verse 2)

(1, 2, 1 2 3 4)

We went to you as kids,
I remember the maps with grids

Oh how we learned
Oh how we learned

I remember the door was painted brown
I'd have to sit out if I acted like a clown

Oh how we learned
Oh how we learned

It was the summer of 96
What a great time to be alive
ahhh ahhh ahhhhh
And visit the Steinberg Cultural Arts Center

I remember the pet snake,
Not far away, there was a lake.
Oh how we learned.
We learned the history of our town,
And "quiet" can be a verb and a noun

Oh how we learned
Verb and a noun

There was old Mr. Steinberg
And Mrs. Padwalski
Who ran the VCR
While we watched the Big Lebowski
But now we hear you're closed
Your clothes
Because some corporate prick with money
Thinks you need renovations
Now the summer just got less "summy"
Woah Woah Woah Woah Woah Woah
Ohh ohhh
Track Name: Samantha
8. Samantha:
(Udel)

I thought that you were OK,
But then I got the news
and not from the news-paper
That you would give me The Blues

You thought that Dave would be cooler
I'm sure you saw by now that he sucks
But I'm not taking you back
Even if you went and paid me twenty bucks

If I see you at lunch, now you know what I think
Just so you know, I've told everybody,
If they date you
they'll end up at a shrink

Yeah!
Track Name: Rainforest
9. Rainforest:
(Kranz, Dedicated to the people of Tibet and Amazon.com)

We're cutting down those trees at a rate of rate times time.
of rate times time.
So the rainwater and the breeze wash away all the grime grime grime
the dirt that trees? (grime grime grime)

You're all un-educated, so why not listen up
Listen up

You'll be in double eedy? for
if your farming doesn't stop
Cause you're making all the sail? (soil) wash away
Wash away, wash away

It's a dark dark day, with no leaves to
Hold the sun (hide the sun), hold the sun (hide the sun).

But now can't you see the damage you've done?
When will you stop cutting down the rainforests?
If you do it way too late,
Then we'll be done, we'll be done.

They make most of our air.
Track Name: All Along The Watertower
10. All Along The Watertower:
(A Poem by Byron Udel)

The following song employs the usage of metaphors in the use of, um, comparing one thing to another thing, that um, like, aren't the same thing.

I am the watertower
Up above the town like me and my notebook
My top is filled with water
(The knowledge in my brain)

I suck that knowledge up from my books
And send it back down to my essay I'm writing
The same way the watertower
Takes the water from the ground and gives it back to the people on the ground.

My body is also 99% water
Just like you and your daughter.
Don't it make you sad?
Don't it make you sad?

The watertower has legs
But unlike mine it can't walk.
But imagine if it did.
What would it say?

I'm like the branches of of a tree,
reaching out in every direction
But planted in the ground
Ohhh ohhhhh ohhh ohhh ohhh

Ohhh ohh the ground
I can plant my
hands to the sky
and feel
the sun
in the sky.
Track Name: Waiting By The Phone
11. Waiting By The Phone:
(Udel)

The quest for gold was put on hiatus
I told you I couldn't be sold
Until the industry finally ate us

Why can't you just leave me alone?
Leave me alone.
And I'm waiting by the phone.
For the call that you (we) made it big.
Big

They say that timing is everything,
But I'd rather make it big.
Your karma ran over my dogma
While the industry determines who's big.

They take all these crappy pop acts
And make them sound real good.
Cause they can't sing... ...and pitch correction.

Why can't you just leave me alone?
I'm doing my best and we're waiting by the phone.
So call us.
Track Name: Y2K Was AOK
12. Y2K was AOK:
(Udel/Kranz, inspired by the book, "Y2K: I was Right" by Brad Olsen-Ecker, the followup to his bonechilling bestseller, "The Y2K Computer Problem Will Cause Havoc & Worldwide Panic: Civilization As We Know It Will Cease to Exist & A Wave of Fear Will Cover the Earth", which you can buy here.

98, 97, 81, 84, 88, 81, 93, 97, 95, 95 (It was) 1999 and all through the house,
every creature was stirring, even the mouse.
They sold their stocks high with care,
worried in the morning, they wouldn't be there.

Choir Enters
They only used 2 digits when they should have used 4.
A human error that let computers take the floor.
But now we're staring doomsday in the face,
Cause we got greedy in the space race.

But when the ball dropped and the clocks all hit 12.
Champagne was not enough to cure the disbelief in yourselve.
Take a swig of Captain Morgan's.

CHORUS
Cause Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK

Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
END OF CHORUS

Violin Solo

Some of us were right all along,
while you were in disbelief at the midnight gong.
Some of us cared enough to write a song.
Can't the paranoid and the noid just get along?

But when the ball dropped and the clocks all hit 12,
champaign was not enough to cure the disbelief in yourselve.

Take a hit of cocaine
Take a swig of aftershave
Take a cyanide pill
Take your head off and put a new one on

Take a ride with me tonight baby!
Take a ride with me tonight baby!
Take it off tonight!
Take it off tonight!
Take it off tonight!

CHORUS
Cause Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK

Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was AOK
Y2K was OAK
Y2K was AOK
Y
END OF CHORUS
